Afro Latin with Dancing Diaspora Collective
Going on its 3rd year, Dancing Diaspora community class is a weekly celebration of the vibrant movement, music, and culture created by brown and black people all over the world. Originally started in 2017 by Dancing Diaspora Collective Founder Marina Magalhães in partnership with Pieter Space in Los Angeles, this dance class embodies the 3 core values of DDC: 1) all bodies are dancing bodies, 2) our bodies KNOW (how to move, heal, express, connect), and 3) we belong in our bodies, we belong in community.
Dancing Diaspora Collective is thrilled to be expanding our community class virtually for the first time ever! For info about how to register for this weekly Tuesday class held via Zoom, go to our Instagram page @dancingdiaspora
Class information is gathered through community submissions. Dancing Alone Together takes no responsibility for class quality or errors in event data.
