This is a fun, beginner-friendly class that offers simple exercises which allow the student to focus on their technique. Simplifying and going back to the basics is very beneficial for students who love a challenge and want to see their class work improve. My focus will be on placement, alignment and proper muscular activation. This directly translates into increased control, flexibility, balance and ease in the body. You can do this class from your own living room or kitchen, all you need is a stable surface to hold onto and act as your ballet barre (the counter top or back of a chair works well). Please wear something that allows you to move and makes you feel comfortable. Ballet shoes, socks or bare feet are all fine as long as you feel safe on your surface.
