be/with with Curtis Thomas
Through improvisation and set material we’ll explore ways of inhabiting, sharing, and engaging with ourselves and each other through short and long distances. With an emphasis on play and joy and the acknowledgement of fear and grief, we will work to find embodied freedom and integration within our moving and still bodies. We will show up for each other, and ourselves in all the ways we can.
Curtis is originally from New Orleans, LA. Through his career performing, creating, and teaching dance he has had the opportunity to work both in the worlds of concert dance and musical theater in the United States and Central America. He believes in the healing power of movement and is dedicated to the equity of marginalized people. His favorite color is purple.
Any donations $1-$25 is greatly appreciated however no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
