TITLE: rhythm and flow: encouraging the body in a challenging time
CLASS: In my class, we will find satisfaction in our moving bodies through shared effort and individual agency. We will explore the potential of our bodies through play in rhythm and easy composition. Through task based improvisation we will work to generate heat and openness in the body. Class will end with a phrase as a way to find unity with others within the confines of our homes.
BIO: Choreographer and dancer Kyle Marshall is a 2018 Juried Bessie Award winner and a NJ State Council on the Arts Fellow. His company, Kyle Marshall Choreography has performed at venues including: BAM, Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out, Actors Fund Arts Center, and NJPAC. He has taught at ADF, Montclair State University, County Prep High School and Muhlenberg College. Kyle dances with the Trisha Brown Dance Company and graduated from Rutgers University with a BFA in Dance.
