Contemporary Warm-Up Class with Mary Kate Sheehan, Freelance Artist in NYC and Europe
Contemporary Warm-Up Class on Instagram Live at @mksheehanigans
Class Description: Mary Kate’s Contemporary Warm-Up Class focuses on warming up and activating the whole body, both physically and energetically. Small movement series are intermingled with moments of technique and bits of basic yoga to slowly and gently, yet thoroughly warm-up the whole body while waking up channels of energy both within the body and those connecting the body to the surrounding space. We find our center, our internal alignments, and our relationship to the space around us in a gently rigorous practice that focuses on body awareness, intention of movement, and caring for the body as our most important instrument.
