Hip Hop Foundations Class with Metro, Ruth Page Center for the Arts
Metro has been doing various styles of hip hop for a long time. First learning from some of the legends in Philly, dancing briefly with Illstyles and Peace Productions, then moving to Chicago to do many battles and now teaching classes throughout the city and hosting breaking practices at Clerenden Park on the cities north side.
This hip hop class breaks down the various foundational styles of hop hop (locking, wacking, breaking, social and house) each week. Each class will have a warm up, technique/ foundations breakdown, intro to floor work and a combo. This class can be modified for any skill set and dancing situation.
These zoom classes cost $5 and can be reserved on mindbody at: https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws?studioid=12731&stype=-7&sTG=65&sVT=130&sView=day&sLoc=0″>
