Kids at LINES June Online Classes
Alonzo King LINES Ballet’s Kids at LINES online classes for K-4 students provide dance experiences that promote student choreography, abstract thinking and the emergence of elementary foundations in different dance styles each week. Students share creative experiences in this fun summer online community.

Free classes available through the One for Me, One for You Program.
This program provides an opportunity to share classes with kids and families who have lost income during Shelter in Place and who can’t afford to pay. We’re all in this together!
Week 1: Contemporary with Becky
June 8 – 12 | 10-11am PDT
Explore the basic skills of Contemporary Dance including cross-lateral principles, initiation and isolation of different body parts, under and over curve, composition, improvisation, and beginning inversions.
Week 2: Hip Hop with Jocelyn
June 15 – 19 | 10-11am PDT
Learn popular Hip Hop moves like The Prep, Bounce, Two Step, Humpty Dance, and The Woah.
Week 3: Musical Theater with Joe
June 22 – 26 | 10-11am PDT
Musical Theater choreography inspired by some of the most popular Broadway and Hollywood musicals, including Hamilton, West Side Story, Rent and others.
Week 4: Ballet with Jordan
June 29 – July 2 | 10-11am PDT
Learn the basics of Ballet including the five positions and barre-like exercises for building strength. Explore ballet-based creative storytelling and pantomime.
