Giordano’s Alignment and movement class: Align, breathe, strengthen and stretch with dance master Marie-Christine Giordano. This class for any age group will help you understand how to align your spine and articulations in order to avoid unnecessary chronic injury. It will help you develop a good muscle memory to maintain the understanding and good posture acquired during class into your daily life.

Marie-Christine Giordano, a Swiss American choreographer is the founder and director of Marie-Christine Giordano Dance, a company based in Brooklyn, NYC. She was awarded a Swiss Scholarship to the Alvin Ailey School and a Merit Scholarship to the Martha Graham Center. She earned her Professional Trainee Certificate in the Martha Graham technique and performed with the Martha Graham Company in New York and on tour internationally. She has choreographed and danced commissioned works for performance in New York, Europe and Switzerland and is the recipient of grants from New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. She has created a unique modern dance training method and Giordano Alignment, which she teaches as a guest teacher at Broadway Dance Center, the Joffrey Ballet School Jazz & Contemporary Intensives and internationally. She is a founder and instructor of outreach programs in New York public school system and is the Salon Series Curator for MCGD.
