Class will begin with a guided meditation then move into led movement tasks through improvisational prompts and dance scores using text and imagery. Through this research we will cultivate mindfulness, loving-kindness, explore our physicality, inspire creativity and freedom of movement.

I had the privilege of working as an interpreter and choreographer for “The Dracula’s Garden Series” presented by Voirelia: Psychology, Philosophy and Dance Hub. This is an on-going interdisciplinary collaboration that “explores the universe of Gothic literature: its stories, creatures, and themes.” In this class we will be utilizing a few of the movement tasks that we explored during this creative process.
