About Yukio Suzuki :
Yukio Suzuki is a dancer and choreographer who started studying Butoh at Asbestos Studio in 1997. He performed in works by artists and companies such as Ko Murobushi and Megumi Nakamura. He started his own company in 2000 which has been gaining international attention for the documentary touch of Suzuki’s direction and choreography. In his merge of Butoh and contemporary dance he is interested not in the technique but in the character of the language created. And in 2012 he took part in Danse Elargie 2012 at the Theatre de la Ville in Paris, where he placed among the top ten.
