Vermont Dance Alliance Online Saturday Dance Class Series with Emily Mott: Noyes Nature Rhythms
Discover a restorative, joyful, intelligent movement practice developed almost 100 years ago by Florence Fleming Noyes. This is a class with flowing technique (for strengthening and alignment) and improvisation based on rich nature imagery. This work is very deep and inspires creative flow in all arts. Open to all levels–very accessible with both gentle and vigorous movement. LIVE (on Zoom) piano music by Samuel Whitesell.
All participants will join via Zoom (Please note Zoom now requires passwords!), hosted by Vermont Dance Alliance. VDA will offer an optional pre-class hangout/warm up on your own from 9:45-10am, and an optional post-class hangout/cool down on your own from 11-11:15. The class is free for anyone to join, with the option to make a donation to Vermont Dance Alliance, to help support this organization during this time: vermontdance.org/support
