Title: This is your event title and should include: class name, teacher’s name, and any studio/company affiliation. (Example: Intermediate Contemporary Jazz with Franco Nieto, NW Dance Project)
Visual/Text: This is the space to tell people how to access your class and provide any relevant URLs or social media handles. You can also include a brief description of the class and/or instructor bio. You do not need to add any media.
Date & Time: Regardless of your location, times should be entered in EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME (UTC-4). You only need to provide:
– Start Date
– Start Time
– End Date
– End Time
Please write “Eastern Time” or “EDT” in the Time Comment box. If your class repeats, you are welcome to check the box by Event Repeating and complete those fields. Please do not create a never-ending event series!
Note to Reviewer: Any comments written here will only be seen by Dancing Alone Together and will not be published in your event.
User Data: Provide your name and email for notifications about your event being published or questions regarding your submission. This data will not be published in your event.
Event Links: Do not include an Event Link (put your links in the Visual/Text box instead!). You can use the More Info fields to add a URL that people can refer to for more details about the class or instructor.
Event Cost: Provide your event’s cost or “Free”, “Pay-what-you-can”, etc.
Featured Image: Upload a photo that is less than 1 MB. Square proportions work best. Accepted file types: jpeg, jpg, png, pdf.
Categories: Check any boxes that are relevant to your class.
Labels: Check any boxes that are relevant to your class.
Post-submission: Once submitted, classes may take 24 hours to be reviewed. You will be notified by email when the event is published. Once submitted, you will not be able to make changes. If you have edits, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
