The following are multi-day virtual dancing opportunities with open enrollment that are intended for adults. (* indicates drop-ins permitted)

Beginner Online Afro Series

NOVEMBER 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 30; DECEMBER 2, 7, 9, 14, 16
This class helps students build a foundation in Afro movement focusing on groove, basic moves, technique, drills and some light choreography. Students will purchase the series as a whole but can drop in. All classes are recorded and sent out for playback!

Lyrical Jazz: Escape from the Zoom room

NOVEMBER 5, 12, 19*
All levels lyrical jazz with long lines, hip and shoulder mobility in mind to help you find release and fullness of movement! Can join live or receive the recording to do at your own convenience.

GLOBAL SPOTLIGHT SERIES: Feldenkrais Method with Natan Gardah

The Feldenkrais Method, developed by Moshe Feldenkrais is based on learning patterns of movement with the aim to develop and improve our awareness of the Quality of Moving.

Basic Ballet Workshop Series at LINES Dance Center

This popular workshop for absolute beginners is perfect for adults who have never taken a ballet class before. Each session will slowly build on the last to give you a firm foundation in ballet and an improved sense of poise and grace. No prior experience necessary.

TL Collective Workshop

This workshop will consist of an exploration within The TL’s training, rep, + theatrical tasks. Expand Practice is a technique originated by Micaela Taylor in 2016 alongside the development of her company, The TL Collective.

Floorwork Forms for Int/Adv Dancers

This catch-all class for dancers, actors, and musical theatre lovers will include a full body warm-up, classical jazz technique exercises, and an ending combination--all to the sound of your favorite show tunes!

Dance Composition / Choreography Workshop

This workshop will give you the tools to create your own original dances, exploring the elements of composition, both for the stage as well as for dance films. We will examine the creative process by learning how to take risks, transition from thinking to feeling to making artistic choices.

Gibney DIGITAL: Weekend Workshop: Fundamentals of Physically Integrated Dance with AXIS Dance Company

DECEMBER 12-13, 2020
Led by Artistic Director Marc Brew and company dancer Yuko Monden Juma, AXIS will introduce the fundamentals of Physically Integrated Dance using creative movement, improvisation, and modern dance technique. This workshop is open to all adults with and without physical disabilities who have any level of dance experience.
